Missing 3-year-old boy in Buguey, Cagayan found dead

Cagayan, Philippines - Buguey town in Cagayan province grieves over the passing of a 3-year-old boy.

On Thursday morning, November 24, the local government unit of Buguey alerted the community that Prince Arvin Tatad, a resident of Centro West, Buguey went missing.

A relative of the child said the boy was last seen wearing blue sports jersey in front of Buguey Gymnasium at around 10 a.m. of said day.

Accordingly, Tatad was left alone by his grandfather who went to run errands at Buguey Public Market.

Authorities then conducted search and rescue operation.

At 6:40 this Friday morning, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of Buguey was informed that concerned residents - Dong Urmatam and Macky Unida found a cadaver.

When dispatched, the search and rescue team saw the body of the missing boy floating along Buguey Lagoon.

The body, says MDRRMO - Buguey, was transported to the Municipal Health Office for examination.
