CAR under GCQ in February; ECQ in Tabuk still in effect

Tabuk City, Kalinga― President Rodrigo Roa Duterte placed Cordillera Administrative Region which includes Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Baguio City, Ifugao, and Kalinga under General Community Quarantine starting February 1 to February 28, 2021.

Said classifications are according to Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque approved by President Rodrigo Duterte announced on Friday, January 29, 2021.

Other places in the country to be under GCQ include National Capital Region (NCR), Batangas and Mountain Province for Luzon; Tacloban City for the Visayas; Davao City, Davao del Norte, Lanao del Sur and Iligan City for Mindanao.

Santiago City, Ormoc City, and all other areas are placed under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ).

Meanwhile, Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) of Kalinga said existing community quarantines imposed in the city and municipalities of the province will still prevail until further notice.

Executive Order No. 2021-03 places Tabuk City under Enhanced Community Quarantine, Municipalities of Rizal, Tanudan, Lubuagan, and Balbalan under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine, Municipalities of Tinglayan and Pasil under General Community Quarantine and Pinukpuk under Modified General Community Quarantine from January 25 to February 8, 2021.
