Alcala, Cagayan - Cagayan police are reminding the residents anew to report immediately any discovery of war materials to avoid danger they may cause.

This is after three vintage bombs were unearthed by the construction workers in a house under construction in Alcala, Cagayan on Tuesday, April 11, 2024.

Police Lieutenant Veronica Narag, in her interview with local media, said that the discovered wartime bombs are unexploded since their fuse, body, and pin is still intact.

The war materials are now under the custody of the Provincial Explosive and Canine Unit (PECU) for their safe disposal and detonation.

In Benguet, meanwhile, a 67-year-old man also found two World War II-era bombs on the same day.
