Rizal, Kalinga – The free circumcision activity of the uniformed personnel and stakeholders in Rizal, which was dubbed as ‘titi mo, tuli ko’ with free haircut this July 23 at the Rizal Municipal Police Station, turned out successful.

Police Captain George Acob, Rizal police chief, relayed that 60 individuals ages 8-15 years old have availed the free circumcision while 34 individuals have benefitted for the haircut. The number of individiuals who availed was three times more than what they expected.

Acob added that they decided to conduct the free circumcision because several people were requesting for it, and it was also a way for the law enforcers to extend their services, most especially the indigent families so they won’t be financially burdened just to have their children undergo circumcision or have a haircut.

“[para] matulungan ‘yung mga kabataan natin, ‘yung mga bata kaya po tayo nag-conduct ng activity na circumcision dito sa Rizal,” he said.

He added that the Rizal Municipal Police Station can accommodate one or two individuals who wish to be circumcised anytime, but should there be more, they will conduct another mass circumcision in partnership with the stakeholders.

Said event is part of the Philippine National Police’ Barangayanihan and 26th Police Community Relations month. It is also in partnership with the Rural Health Unit Rizal, Provincial Crime Laboratory Office, Delta Coy, 50IB (DEFENDER), Juan M Duyan Memorial District Hospital and it was sponsored by Mavis Bangisan of Carl E Balita review center and Dr. Aurelio Villa.
