Tabuk SP craft ordinances to reclassify Annex schools

Tabuk City, Kalinga – The Sangguniang Panlungsod of Tabuk is now crafting ordinances to rename, integrate and separate several Annex schools in the city to comply with the documentary requests of the Schools Division of Tabuk for submission to the Department of Education.


In a letter address to the august body, Division Superintendent Irene Angway requested for the creation of ordinances since these are part of the requirements of DepEd for the identified schools to be converted as independent public education institutions.

Said matter was referred to the Committee on Education on Monday, April 26, 2021, during a Regular Session held at the Laoagan Inn and Resort, Bulanao.


Schools to be renamed are as follows:

· Banagan Primary School to Banagan Elementary School

· Cogawe Elementary School to Dalnacan Elementary School

· Bulo East Elementary School to Bulo East Central School

· Cudal Elementary School to Cudal Central School

· Balawag Elementary School to Balawag Central School

· Dananao Primary School to Dananao Elementary School

· Bulo West Elementary School –Burubor Annex to Burubor Annex Elementary School

· Mansanita Primary School to Mansanita Elementary School

· Bulanao Elementary School- Greenhills Annex to Greenhills Elementary School

· Agbannawag Elementary School to Agbannawag Central School

· Bado Dangwa Elementary School to Bado Dangwa Central School

· Balawag National High School to Balawag Agro-Industrial National High School



For integration are:

· Laya Elementary School to Laya Integrated School

· San Pablo Elementary School to San Pablo Integrated School

· Mabato Elementary School to Amlao Integrated School

· Guilayon Elementary School to Guilayon Integrated School

Separation of school/annex

· Naneng National High School-Mosimos Annex to Dupag National High School


The City Council, as recalled, forged Resolution No. 037 Series of 2021 on March 8, 2021 in support to the plan of the Division of Tabuk recommending the renaming, integration, and separation of some schools in the city pursuant to Section 13 (e), and 99 (d) of the Local Government Code.
