This is after the members of the Sangguniang Bayan, headed by Vice Mayor Joseph Cosidon gave the authority to Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag through the Local Finance Committee to allot financial assistance to the victims of said accident.

Through Resolution No. 2021-293, the body wrote that after due deliberation they deemed it lawful and appropriate to grant the financial assistance to the victims of the road crash chargeable under the Office of the Municipal Mayor.

Mayor Dagadag said that the budget they allot will serve as an aid for the victims – both the survivors and the families of the three who died. He added that they already got the names of those involved in the incident and that their cheque is expected to be distributed this week.

This is not the first assistance the LGU extended to the victims, as they also allotted an amount for the hospitalized victims’ medicine and bills.
