3 hostess robbed by their clients in Isabela

Isabela, Philippines – Three men are facing several charges after robbing three female bar entertainers whom they booked for two hours in Cauayan City in the early morning of August 27.


Police Regional Office 2 – Regional Public Information Office identified the suspects as Antonio Briones, 36, married and resident of San Luis, Ilagan City; King Gerald Lapitan, 25, resident of Guibang, Gamu; and John Arc Paguirigan, 23, and from Bacolod, Ilagan.


According to the police, the three suspects booked three female bar entertainers for two hours. However, when they took the three women out, Lapitan brought out an improvised firearm and pointed it at one of the victims, and took her phone.


The three, after robbing the victims, escaped and drove towards the city proper.

The incident was immediately reported to the authorities, resulting in the arrest of the suspects who were flagged down at a checkpoint in Tagaran in a hot pursuit operation.


During the course of their arrest, the police recovered the stolen cellphone from Paguirigan including a P500 bill, two sets of playing cards, and a sling bag.


Additionally, the improvised shotgun used was confiscated from Lapitan. Other items taken from him include 2 live ammunition; a cellphone, P400, a lighter, and a tricycle.


Further, the police also seized from the suspects 6 ziplock sachets containing alleged dried marijuana worth P2,520 and another plastic bag with the same substance worth P2,160.


The three men will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591 or Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunitions, Robbery, and violation of RA 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
