Gov. Tubban wishes strength, happiness to Kalinga moms

Tabuk City, Kalinga-In celebration of Mother’s Day this Sunday, Governor Ferdinand Tubban extended his wishes to the mothers in the province and the world, putting emphasis on their roles as light bearers and protectors of the children’s future.

“Iyebkas ko ti nabara nga panagkabblaaw ko kadagiti amin nga inna iti tunggal pagtaengan. Idawdawat ko iti Dios Ama nga paraburan na pay kuma ti naan-anay nga pigsa, ragsak ken aglaplapusanan nga ayat dagiti amin nga dituy Kalinga ken iti intero nga lubong,” Tubban expressed in his message.

Motherhood, he said, is a blessing and a privilege to enlighten every household.

“Ti panagbalin nga ina ket maysa nga napateg nga sagot nga nagtaud iti Dios. Maysa nga naisangsangayan nga pribilehiyo nga naited kadagiti babbai tapnu isuda ti silaw iti tunggal pagtaengan, mangited iti lawag tapno makita tayo dagiti nararaniag nga arapaap agturong iti naparabur nga panagbiag,” he said.

He likewise recognized the significant role of a mother.

“Dagiti inna ket isuda dagiti kangrunaan nga mangbukel kadagiti pahina nga mangted maris iti biag tayo. Isuda dagiti pagtataudan iti awan kaasping na nga ayat, ken mangidalan kadatayo agturong iti naraniag nga dana iti biag,” the governor added.

Mother’s Day in the country is celebrated every second Sunday of May in honor of mothers’ influence to the society.
