19-year-old TOP WANTED in Ramon, Isabela rape case arrested following manhunt operation

RAMON, Isabela — A 19-year-old man identified as the No. 2 Provincial Most Wanted Person (PMWP) in Isabela for a statutory rape case was arrested during a joint manhunt operation in Barangay San Miguel, Ramon, Isabela on September 2, 2026.


Police identified the suspect only as alias “Gudo,” 19, single, and a resident of Ramon.

The arrest was carried out by personnel of the Ramon Police Station, the lead unit, and the Regional Intelligence Unit 2–Criminal Investigation Team (RIU2-CIT) based in Santiago City.


Authorities arrested Gudo by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest dated August 17, 2026, for statutory rape. The warrant carried no recommended bail.


Police brought the suspect to the Ramon Police Station for documentation and processing before his turnover to the issuing court.


Isabela Police Provincial Office Director PCOL Manuel B. Bringas said the arrest demonstrates the police force’s determination to locate and hold wanted persons accountable.


He emphasized that timely action, effective coordination and sustained manhunt operations are crucial in strengthening public safety and helping bring justice to victims.


The operation forms part of the continuing efforts of the Isabela PPO to intensify police operations against wanted persons and other criminal offenders as part of the focused agenda of the Chief, Philippine National Police.


Police said the operations are aimed at providing faster, more efficient and responsible police service while maintaining peace, order and public safety across Isabela.
