Enrile, Cagayan – Forty-three individuals, including two pregnant women, were injured after a jeep plunged into a ravine in Cagayan over the weekend.

The victims, as narrated by a local media outlet, came from a wedding in Ilagan, Isabela, and were returning home to Enrile, Cagayan, on April 28, 2024, when the incident occurred.

On board the jeep, they were then traversing the road in Barangay Maddarulug Sur when their vehicle lost its brakes and fell straight into the ravine, which is about 3-5 feet deep.
