Illegal guns, drugs seized from businessman in Tabuk City

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A businessman in Tabuk City was put behind bars for keeping illegal firearms and drugs at his residence in Purok 4, Bulanao.

 

Armed with a search warrant, the house of the 40-year-old suspect, who was not named by the Tabuk City Police Station, was searched by the authorities on Thursday morning, May 16, 2024.


The almost five-hour operation led to the discovery of two firearms described as an improvised gauge 12 shotgun and a Cal .45, along with magazines and live ammunition and empty shells.

 

Apart from the guns, the police also found two bricks of suspected marijuana bricks, estimated to be worth P240,000.

 

The operation and inventory of the confiscated evidence wrapped up around 1:15 p.m. on the same day.

 

With the successful operation, Tabuk City Chief of Police, PLtCol. Jolly Ngaya-an acknowledged the people who continuously work with the police to provide a safer community for the public to live in.
