New drug offenders in Tabuk City caught with P2M shabu, firearms

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Two newly identified drug personalities in Tabuk City were not able to evade the arm of the law as police showed up at their doors in Nambaran last week.

 

Teams from the Tabuk City Police Station and other units from the Kalinga Police Provincial Office proceeded to two houses in Ileb on May 9 after being granted two search warrants by the Regional Trial Court Branch 25.

 

Said documents were implemented, which led to the discovery of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P2,074,000 and suspected marijuana oil worth P6,600.


Information from PNP Tabuk Spokesperson, PMSg. Prodencio Atas showed that authorities further seized firearms during the operation, such as a caliber 9mm LLAMA pistol; a caliber 5.56 M16A1 Colt AR 15; an AR-15 COLT 5.56 rifle; and magazines and live ammunition.

 

The two suspects, who were not named by the police, were brought to the Tabuk City Police Station after an onsite inventory of the items seized from their place.

 

PNP Tabuk Chief, PLTCol. Jolly Ngaya-an, in a statement, expressed that the operation is part of the continuous and intensified campaign against illegal drugs to sustain peace and order in the city.
