Tabuk City, Kalinga – A 44-year-old identified as a drug personality in Tabuk City will be answering charges in court after anti-narcotic cops found more than a hundred thousand worth of suspected contraband from his home yesterday.
On Thursday, July 24, the anti-illegal drugs operatives of the Kalinga Police Provincial Office proceeded to Balong, Tabuk City to serve a search warrant against the suspect who was tagged as a Street Level drug personality.
The man who was not named by the PNP Cordillera was arrested after the cops found 18 sachets of suspected shabu at his house. This suspected illegal drugs have an estimated worth of P130,560.
Seven ammunition and pieces of drug paraphernalia were likewise seized during the operation.
2 street level drug personalities arrested in Abra
On the same day, two other SLIs were apprehended in Abra following a buy-bust operation which the police launched in Calaba South, Bangued. The operation resulted in the arrest of two suspects and the confiscation of P107,032 worth of suspected shabu.
The arrested individuals were brought to police custody prior to filling of cases for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
