Baguio City, Philippines – Achieving the highest recognition in their field of service, the PNP mobile force of Baguio City was awarded the “Best City Mobile Force Company” in the country.
The recognition is seen as proof that Cordilleran police are indeed one of the best.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. handed over the award to Company Commander PLTCOL Renny Lizardo during the 121st Police Service Anniversary held on Monday, August 08, 2022, at the PNP Multi-Purpose Center in Camp Brigadier General Rafael T. Crame, Quezon City.
The capability and readiness of the city mobile force in handling different crisis situation were assessed by a field evaluation and validation team on July 21 to 22, 2022. Said team was from the national headquarters, reported BCMFC.
Meantime, the city government of Baguio commended the exceptional performance of its City Mobile Force Company.
Additionally, the title of “Best Provincial Mobile Force Company” was conferred to 1st Mountain Province PMFC while Mary Jean Bañaga who is currently assigned at Cordillera Regional Logistic and Research Development was awarded the “Best Non-Uniformed Personnel for Non-Supervisory Level.”
Congratulating the police accomplishments, Marcos Jr. reiterated the pivotal role of the officers in maintaining peace and order in the country.
