Battle for the Crown: 8 stunning iKalingas compete for Miss Kalinga 2026

Tabuk City, Kalinga — Reigning Miss Kalinga Fatima Rose Peralta is set to crown her successor from among eight stunning iKalinga candidates vying for the prestigious title on February 13 at the Kalinga Sports Center in Bulanao.

 

The next Miss Kalinga will be chosen from eight candidates representing their respective municipalities and the city: Shira Mae A. Acosta of Balbalan; Keith Charmaine Pangosban of Lubuagan; Novie Leann A. Banatao of Pasil; Natasha Pauline D. Batac of Pinukpuk; Pacita Lee M. Marallag of Rizal; Rachel Angela V. Baday of Tabuk City; Eureeka Fame V. Daladag of Tanudan; and Almira T. Bongalon of Tinglayan.

 

The eight candidates were formally presented during the kick-off ceremony of the 7th Bodong Festival and 31st Founding Anniversary of Kalinga on February 2 at the Capitol Park. They were sashed by local officials led by their respective mayors and vice mayors.

 

On Friday, February 6, the candidates will showcase their talents and potential during the pre-pageant at the Davidson Hotel in Bulanao.

 

The next Miss Kalinga will be crowned on the evening of February 13, as the candidates compete by displaying their poise, wit, skills, and beauty in pursuit of the coveted crown.

 

It may be recalled that last year, reigning Miss Kalinga Fatima Rose Peralta marked a milestone for her hometown, Lubuagan, after winning the competition — the first victory for Lubuagan since the separation of Kalinga and Apayao in 1995.
