Ifugao beauty to represent Baguio in Miss Universe PH

Ifugao, Philippines – A beauty queen who traces her roots to Hingyon, Ifugao and Piddig, Ilocos Norte will represent Baguio City in the next edition of Miss Universe Philippines.

Among the 18 screened candidates, Janah Rhyl Lumidao was crowned Miss Baguio 2023 on August 26 at the Baguio Convention and Cultural Center. Her win earned her a ticket to the most prestigious pageant in the country.

The 18-year-old Loakan bet was likewise named as Miss Modelo International, Miss AVIGNON Radiant Skin, Giraffe Boutique Hotel Ambassadress and Miss Lafayette. Bucketlist Travel and Consultancy Services further chose her as the awardee of a roundtrip ticket to the City of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, with hotel accommodation.

“Once voiceless, here I am, fearless! I am ready to take on the challenge. I am ready to be a voice to those who lost it. I am ready to become the best version of myself,” expressed the young beauty.
