New police provincial director vows to serve like ‘full-blooded yKalinga’

Tabuk City, Kalinga – “I will work with the Province of Kalinga as a true full-blooded yKalinga,” this is the commitment of newly installed Kalinga Police Provincial Director(PD), PCol. Freddie Lazona.

Lazona who is from Benguet took the command of Kalinga Police Provincial Office from PCol. Charles Domallig on August 10, 2023 at Camp Captain Juan M Duyan in Bulanao.

Under his leadership, he cited he will fulfill 3 main agenda which he dubbed ‘FML’.

The F stands for ‘Fair and just’ in instilling discipline among the police personnel. He mentioned about treating everyone fairly. The M, on the other hand, means ‘Moral and welfare of personnel’ which will ensure that the efforts and accomplishments of the police on the ground are commended and acknowledged through awards.

Lazona believes that the personnel’s works should be recognized for them to be motivated to continue pursuing excellence in their job and also in serving the people and communities.

The L is ‘Loyalty and love of work’ which he said should be present to the police officers.

"Nu ayatem nga talaga ti trabahum, nalaka uray nu anya rigat na dayta,” he emphasized.

As he begins his journey to leading the men and women of KPPO, Lazona asks for support from the personnel and the people of Kalinga saying, “let us work together to maintain the peace and order in the province. I am soliciting your support and commitment for the betterment of Kalinga province.”
