“Supot All You Can, Eat All You Can”one of the highlights of 13th Panagbunga Festival in Conner, Apayao

CONNER, Apayao — “Supot All You Can” and “Eat All You Can” are among the highlights of the 13th Panagbunga Festival in Conner, Apayao, which runs from September 28 to October 2, 2026 at the LGU Compound in Caglayan.

According to the Conner Local Government Unit (LGU) Public Information Office (PIO) in a September 22 post, this year’s celebration carries the theme “Conner: Celebrating Our Natural Nourishment, Excellence and Resilience.”

The LGU is also set to invite Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) General Manager Nicolas Torre III as guest of honor and speaker during the festival, while Apayao Lone District Representative Eleanor Bulut-Begtang is expected to deliver an inspirational message, according to local media quoting Mayor Jorico Bayaua.

The festival will also feature a giant fruit basket, symbolizing the town’s abundant harvest and its identity as an agricultural community.

Panagbunga Festival is an annual celebration of Conner’s bountiful fruit harvest, as well as its culture and traditions. It also provides a venue for showcasing the talent, creativity, unity and cultural heritage of the community.

Among the activities lined up for the five-day celebration are the Mass Wedding, Folk Dance and Hataw Competition, Inter-Agency Fruit Basket Arrangement Competition, Mayor’s Cup Championship, LGU Night, Holy Mass, Grand Parade, Drum and Lyre Competition, Cookfest Competition, Cultural Presentation, and the Mr. and Miss Conner 2026 Competition.

Visitors are also expected to flock to the “Eat All You Can” and “Supot All You Can” activities, where participants can sample and take home a variety of locally harvested fruits from Conner.

The festival highlights Conner’s agricultural abundance, particularly its fruit production, while promoting the town’s local culture, community participation and tourism.

The LGU of Conner has invited residents, visitors and guests to join the celebration, which aims to showcase the municipality’s abundance, culture, unity, excellence and resilience.
