Tabuk City, Kalinga – iKalingas no longer need to travel to Quezon City for a chance to shine on It’s Showtime’s “Tawag ng Tanghalan” (TNT), as the popular show is bringing its auditions to Tabuk City.

TNT is a prestigious and iconic amateur singing competition segment of the multi-awarded Philippine noontime variety show It’s Showtime. The segment has produced several successful singers and recording artists, including Janine Berdin, Lyka Estrella, Carmelle Collado, and Marko Rudio, among others.

On April 21, 2026, TNT will bring opportunities closer to home for iKalinga singers as it holds auditions for talents aged 15 and above at the Kalinga Sports Center in Bulanao, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Interested participants are required to prepare a minus-one audition piece, one English a cappella song, and one Filipino a cappella song. They must appear at the Kalinga Sports Center on the scheduled date and time.

Among the iKalingas who have stepped onto the prestigious TNT stage is Sergeant Sessy Lou Bucalen-Salazar, who joined the competition on August 20, 2020. She impressed in the daily rounds with her renditions of “Set Fire to the Rain” by Adele and “Rise Up” by Andra Day, earning praise from the “hurados” for her rhythm and authentic tone. She advanced to the Weekly Finals.
