Two men injured in road crash in Tabuk City on Sunday

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A 27 and 78-year-old men are the recent victims of a vehicular traffic accident in Tabuk City; both were injured and rushed to the hospital on Sunday, July 27, following a collision in Bulanao.

 

Road accidents remain one of the causes of injuries to people in the city, the vehicular traffic accident hot spot in Kalinga, where 169 cases were documented by the Department of Health Cordillera in 2024. These incidents led to 309 injuries.

On Sunday, responders from the Bureau of Fire Protection Tabuk City rushed to the aid of two men – a 27-year-old and a 78-year-old who got injured in a ‘Kulong-kulong’ and motorcycle collision in Bulanao at 2:45 p.m.

 

According to the BFP Tabuk City, both victims were conscious when they arrived at the scene. They described that the 27-year-old sustained multiple abrasions on his face and left upper extremities and bruises on his left parietal area.

 

The 78-year-old victim, on the other hand, complained of lower back pain after the incident.

 

After wound cleaning and vital signs monitoring, the responding BFP personnel brought the two men to the Kalinga Provincial Hospital for further assessment and medical intervention.
