Aguinaldo, Ifugao – The festive spirit enveloped Aguinaldo as winners were announced for an array of vibrant competitions that brought cheer and talent to the stage this holiday season.
Participating offices, national line agencies and barangays showcased their creativity and camaraderie, spreading joy across the community through several engaging contests from December 01 to 16, 2023.
In the thrilling online Christmas dance competition, a dazzling display of talent was witnessed, crowning Fiscal Fusion with the coveted first prize of P2,000. Following closely, SB Reels secured the second prize of P1,500 and also clinched the Online Favorite Special Award. The Mayor's Office grabbed the third prize of P1,000, while BFP Aguinaldo received a consolation prize.
The Online Video Competition dubbed “Kuha Ko!” was another spectacle, featuring the ingenuity of participants.
Ipugawak Vlogs claimed the top spot with a winning prize of P5,000. The Barber Cop secured the second prize of P4,000 and also won the Online Favorite Special Award with an additional P1,000 prize. Merbel Official TV2 clinched the third prize of P3,000.
Hapet Harmony: Barangay Category
In the Hapet Harmony Barangay Category, a festivity of cultural diversity through the fusion of traditional and modern Christmas carols in the Hapet language, incorporating ethnic instruments for a unique musical experience, Barangay Damag shone brightly, claiming the first place prize of P15,000.
Barangay Awayan and Barangay Majlong followed, securing the P12,000 and P9,000 prizes, respectively. The enthusiasm and effort of Barangay Monggayang and Barangay Ta-Ang were also recognized with the 4th and 5th Place prizes of P7,000 and P5,000.
Meanwhile, Barangay Galonogon, Barangay Talite, and Barangay Bunhian received the consolation Prize of P1,000 each. The Audience Choice Award was bestowed upon the vibrant performances of Barangay Damag.
Hapet Harmony: Open Category
In the open category of Hapet Harmony, the Department of Education and the Department of Public Works and Highways collaborated and emerged victorious, claiming the P5,000 prize.
Recognizing exceptional event hosting, the Best Night Awards celebrated the collaborative efforts of various offices and barangays in Aguinaldo.
The first prize was secured by 'A Cycle of Laughters and Inspiration' hosted by the SB Office, the Office of the Vice-Mayor, and the Office of the SB Secretary, in partnership with Barangays Awayan and Damag.
'Christmas Night of Love, Light, and Laughter' hosted by the Municipal Health Office and Aguinaldo Public Hospital, along with Barangay Ta-Ang and Jacmal, secured the second prize, followed by 'A Night of Dances' hosted by MEO, LCR, MASSO, and MPDO, in collaboration with Barangay Posnaan and Chalalo, winning the third prize.
The celebrations reflected the community's enthusiasm, talent, and collaboration, ushering in the holiday season with a harmonious blend of creativity and unity.
