Tabuk City, Kalinga – The two naked dead bodies buried on a farm in Cudal are yet to be identified and claimed as of the morning of March 5, 2024.

The two cadavers were discovered buried approximately 1.1 meters underground at a coffee plantation in said barangay. This discovery occurred after a foul odor caught the attention of a 61-year-old farmer who was harvesting coffee beans on his farm on Sunday, March 3.

One of the bodies was found lying in a supine position with his hands tied, while the other was lying on her side with her upper body almost covering the other corpse.

Due to their decomposing state, it was only after the bodies were brought to Falgui Funeral Homes that the corpses were confirmed to be that of a male and a female.

The one with his hands tied was identified as a man, while the other, described as wearing a 'Saint Benedict' ring, was identified as a woman.

The Tabuk City police have already requested a post-mortem examination and autopsy for the cadavers.

An in-depth investigation is still ongoing.
