Baguio City, Philippines – A 21-year-old laborer is currently undergoing medication after falling off a mixer truck Tuesday, August 23, along Rimando Road in the summer capital.
The victim suffered head injuries, according to a police report.
As relayed by Mt. Province Broadcasting Corporation, the name of the victim is James Gambala, single, and a resident of Baguio city.
The report said he was on top of the mixer truck lifting cable wires while traversing said portion of the road when the incident happened.
While doing his job to prevent the wires from coming into contact with the vehicle, Gambala’s body got entangled with the wires which resulted in his fall.
Personnel of Baguio City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) applied first aid to the victim and then ferried him to a nearby medical facility where he is now having his treatment.
