45 sons and daughters of Kalinga passed the 2025 Bar Examination, honored with testimonial dinner

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A total of forty-five iKalingas are now set to enter the legal profession after passing the Bar Examinations held on September 7, 10, and 14, 2025—one of the most difficult and lengthy licensure exams in the Philippines.


After three months of waiting, the Supreme Court of the Philippines released the names of the new lawyers on January 7, with a total of 5,594 passers out of 11,420 examinees.


In recognition of their achievement, the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP)–Kalinga Chapter held a testimonial dinner on March 21 at Davidson’s Hotel, gathering members of the legal community along with the passers’ families to celebrate the perseverance and dedication of the province’s newest legal practitioners.


The new defenders of justice from Kalinga include Atty. Chelsea Ann Abbacan, Atty. Portia Mae Alcanzarin, Atty. Royale Kaye Ande, Atty. Xylerine Antoinette Apil, Atty. James Oliver Arboleda, Atty. Sheldon Baddongon, Atty. Judea Ara Bagtang, Atty. Joyce Noreen Bagyon, Atty. Arvin Balageo, Atty. Ogie Rose Banasan, Atty. Krezza Iah Micah Batay-an, Atty. James Baybay Jr., Atty. Roselyn Calbayan, Atty. Denzel Camuyot, Atty. Allan Joy Caoile, Atty. Jordan Casiano, Atty. Eduardo Cortez, Atty. Rolex Jurister Dawaton, and Atty. Chrissa Joyce Diwag, among others.
