SLU grad excels in Sept. 2023 Electrical Engineers board exam

Baguio City, Philippines – A Louisian electrical engineer secured a spot in the list of top 10 passers in the September 2023 Registered Electrical Engineers (REE) Licensure Examination.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Electrical Engineering announced on September 08 that 1,218 out of 3,945 passed this year’s REE.

Of the 1,218 successful passers, Jurgen Jan Lopez Lagdao of Saint Louis University was named top 6 after garnering a rating of 88.20%.

Lagdao finished his college degree as Magna Cum Laude.

An examinee from the University of the Philippines – Los Baños, meantime, topped the board exam for electrical engineers with 90.95% rating.

PRC administered the REE on September 02 – 03 at testing centers in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, and Palawan.
