Tabuk City, Kalinga – Is joining the military service one of your dreams? Don’t miss the opportunity of fulfilling your aspiration and apply now for the Philippine Military Academy(PMA) Class 2028.

The premier military institution in the country is currently accepting online and onsite applications for said class until August 1, 2023.

Aspiring cadets who must be 17-21 years old and a high school graduate can upload their requirements to PMA’s Online Application System (https://admission.pma.edu.ph/) or they can mail or hand carry their documents to the Office of Cadet Admission at the Philippine Military Academy in Fort del Pilar, Baguio City.

Office of Cadet Recruitment Deputy Director, Maj. John Eric Tadeo mentioned during his interview with Bombo Radyo Baguio that applicants must make sure they have submitted complete requirements in order for their documents to be validated.

“We are encouraging yung mga iba na feeling nila baka kulang, i-double check lang po nila kung okay na yung kanilang requirement,” he said.

Requirements

Applicants are advised to fill out properly the PMAEE Application Form which could be accessed at https://www.pma.edu.ph/PMAEE-APPLICATION-FORM-2022.pdf and that all needed attachments should be correct and complete.

These pertinent documents needed to be submitted or uploaded include High School Form 137 or Form 138 and PSA copy of Birth Certificate.

‘No Palakasan’

Tadeo emphasized there is no ‘palakasan’ in the admission of PMA cadets as all aspirants will be subjected to several examinations – entrance, physical, aptitude for service, interview, and special written test.

He said that the said exams will be conducted by different people.

“Ang maa-assure po namin dito sa amin sa recruitment and sa PMA is yung pagsasala po kasi ay hindi lang po dumadaan sa taga PMA lang – yung mga gumagawa ng exam, yung mga nagche-check ng exam, at yung mga nagper-perform ng physical and medical examinations, mga iba’t ibang tao po yan,” he conveyed.

Meantime, only 300 – 350 aspiring cadets will be admitted to the Philippine Military Academy Class of 2028.
