Tanudan, Kalinga―Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang lauds work for humanity citing the practice of sharing that prevailed among organizations bringing support to the municipalities in the province of Kalinga.

The Congressman underscored readiness to serve and help during his speech as the guest speaker of the community service program of the Fraternal Order of Eagles held on June 20 at Banagao, Poblacion, Tanudan.

Mangaoang related that despite the struggles that the pandemic continues to impose on the economy, public health and communities, there are still organizations and individuals who chose to lend a hand to those in need.

“Kadagitoy nga tyempo marikna tayo iti gagar ken napintas nga nakem dagiti kakailyan tayo nga nakasagana nga tumulong ken mangited iti inspirasyon kadakayo amin… the pandemic will never succeed in soaring hopelessness in our hearts because humanity shines its brightest when everything else seems too dark and problematic,” he expressed.

Managoang recognized the endeavor of the organization for its consistency in helping communities not only in Tanudan, but also in other municipalities. Also, this portrayed the real socio-civic oriented projects, he said.

“Stories that inspire the best in our people will always shine in the midst of all challenges. Sharing what little we have for others at the time like this will certainly leave a more meaningful print in the hearts of the residents of all the 16 barangays in the municipality of Tanudan,” Mangaoang said.

The Congressman likewise pointed out that the activity literally will give light to the 16 barangay-beneficiaries as they carry out their mission to serve humanity and foster brotherhood thru socio-civic activities one community at a time.
