Cordillera Pride: Three schools post high passing rates in Feb 2026 Criminology Licensure Exam

Ifugao, Philippines – Three higher education institutions in the Cordillera region displayed exemplary test performance in the February 2026 Criminologist Licensure Examination after majority of their graduates passed.


After 26 working days, the Professional Regulation Commission revealed that 30,320 or 66% of the 45,936 takers are set to take their oath as full-fledged criminologists. Among the passing population, alumni of three schools in the Cordillera region delivered a high passing rate for their respective alma matter.


These schools are University of the Cordilleras(UC), Ifugao State University – Lamut (IFSU), and the King’s College of the Philippines Inc. – Benguet . UC ranked second in the 200 or more examinees with at least 80% passing rate category after 197 (95.65%) out of its 206 takers passed. Tailing behing UC in the same category is IFSU with 225 (93.36%) out of 241 passers.


On the other hand, the King’s College of the Philippines Inc. – Benguet was named top 7 in the 101-199 category after 97 (93.27%) of its 104 takers passed.


Additionally, Tony Ong Dinamling, a graduate of IFSU emerged as top 2 nationwide after garnering a 92.70% average in the exams.


The Commission of Higher Education Cordillera lauded the three schools and Dinamling for their outstanding performance in the February 2026 CLE, saying, “Congratulations to the institutions, faculty, and successful examinees. Your commitment to quality education stands as an example for others to follow.”
