FREE veterinary services for dogs and cats this September 28,29

Tabuk City, Kalinga – In celebration of World Rabies Day, the Provincial Veterinary Office will be offering various veterinary services for free this Sept. 28–29 at the Department of Agriculture Compound in Block 3, Bulanao.

Services include consultation, anti-rabies vaccination, castration, and deworming.

Focused on responsible ownership and the connection of the environment with both people and animals, this year’s World’s Rabies Day is anchored on the theme “All for 1, One Health for All.”

As its way to contribute to said objectives, the conduct of free veterinary services was decided by the said office.

“The free dog castration event on September 28, 2023, aims to contribute to these objectives by promoting responsible pet ownership and reducing the risk of rabies transmission within the community,” the provincial local government wrote.

With the event, the public is urged to head to the event’s venue on the announced dates to ensure the health and safety of pets as well as their owners.

For those who will be availing of the castration, they are urged to pre-register starting Monday, Sept. 25 to 27.

The public may send their details to PVET's official Facebook account which can be accessed through this link - https://www.facebook.com/pvet.kalinga?mibextid=2JQ9oc .
