Kalinga has 19 new physicians ready to provide quality health care services

Tabuk City, Kalinga – The Province of Kalinga has produced 19 new physicians who are set to provide quality healthcare services and help in the preservation, maintenance, and enhancement of the health and well-being of Filipinos.


The 19 are among the 1,954 passers, or 70.26 percent, of the March 2026 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), which was held on March 23, 24, 30, and 31 at various testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.


The 19 new iKalinga physicians are Dr. Princess Mary Abbygail Denna Duyan; Dr. Heather Ezra Narag Guidangen; Dr. Asteria Canabang Tollino; Dr. Kelly Daluson Donga; Dr. Marienne Ewoc Wacas; Dr. Grendolyn Kelley Sallidao-Biag; Dr. Vanessa Maglia Bulawit-Bagayao; Dr. Joefry Panabe Bentican; Dr. Jay-ar Fidel Sapitan; Dr. Nica Lois Busacay Apolinar; Dr. Jan Zeddrieck Padilla Dacawi; Dr. Megan Dignadice Penchog; Dr. Sean Nicoli Nonog Pangda; Dr. Risen Hope Ramirez Ola-ao; Dr. Carol Dayaen Boclongan; Dr. Atani King Omengan Salicob; Dr. Therese Macanas Bawagan; Dr. Lorenze Tangbawan Bagwan; and Dr. Arcel Grace Dantog Ibarra.


These newly licensed physicians will join the 26 iKalingas who passed the October 2025 Physician Licensure Examination in serving the people and providing much-needed healthcare services.


In a statement, Governor James Edduba commended the achievement of the 19 Kalinga sons and daughters, saying, “You have made your province proud, and may God guide your paths. Sapay koma saan yo malipatan nga agserbi nga nasayaat ken napudno. I pray that your journey and work be blessed.”
