Kalinga’s top 7 most wanted and Regions’ Top 10 Individual Drug Personality arrested

Pinukpuk, Kalinga – The Top seven most wanted person in Kalinga, charged for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, was arrested on July 26 in Sitio Marucdot, Barangay Junction.

The Kalinga Police Provincial Office identified the suspect as aka ‘Demy’, 58, from Barangay Wagud. He is also listed as the Region’s Top Ten Individual Drug Personality.

The suspect has a warrant of arrest for violation of Article II, Section 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 with P200,000 recommended bail.

“Demy” was charged after the police found alleged illegal drugs at his house when they served a search warrant on March 10, 2021.

He was not immediately arrested because he was not around when the operatives searched his house on the said date.

The suspect was brought to Kalinga PPO for documentation before his turn over to the court.
