10-year-old Grade 2 learner reported missing in Baguio; Family appeals for help

BAGUIO CITY — A 10-year-old Grade 2 learner from Springhills Integrated School has been reported missing since the evening of Sunday, August 23, 2026, prompting his family to appeal to the public for help in locating him.


The child, identified as Stephen Insas, is a resident of Kadaclan, Loakan Apugan Barangay, Baguio City.


According to a missing-person notice released by his family, Stephen was last seen on the evening of August 23.


His family is appealing to anyone who may have seen Stephen, encountered him, or obtained information about his whereabouts to immediately contact his family or the authorities.


Stephen’s aunt, Analyn Nasocwao, may be reached at 0907-096-8935, while his mother, Anna Sibayan, may be contacted at 0948-795-5431.


The family emphasized that any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could help locate Stephen and bring him home safely.


The family has also authorized the posting and sharing of Stephen’s photograph to increase public awareness and assist in the search.


The public is urged to share the missing-person notice and report any possible sighting or information to Stephen’s family or the Baguio City Police Office.


For safety, anyone who spots Stephen is advised not to approach or confront anyone who may be with him. Instead, immediately report the sighting to the nearest police station or law enforcement personnel and provide the location and other relevant details.
