Mayor Dagadag vows to double efforts for ‘Progressive Tanudan’ as he begins his last term

Tanudan, Kalinga – As Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag begins his third and final term as the local chief executive of Tanudan, he vows he will not let his constituents down and that their continuous trust and confidence in him won’t go to waste.

 

The unopposed mayor will be leading Tanudan for the next three years alongside Vice Mayor Antonio Basungit Jr. and Councilors Eusebio Salicanto, Leon Bulakit, Shelton Pao-iton, Lourdes Masa-ao, Alex Ladwingon, Johnny Liddawa, Helen Gacadan, and Federico Tiggangay.

 

These new set of town leaders officially assumed post on June 27, 2025, where they had their oath taking ceremony in Banagao, Poblacion.   

 

For the past six years, Dagadag has been driving Tanudan to further developments, bringing in more projects and services in the municipality and sourcing out funding to cover more programs and infrastructures in town. Thus, the recognition of Tanudan being one of the most progressive towns in Kalinga in spite of its limited IRA.

 

The mayor has also been known for his benevolence, using his own money to help those in need like in providing free wheelchairs to persons with disabilities. This act encouraged some individuals to donate, expanding this initiative and serving not only people from Tanudan but also those in Tabuk City.

 

Moreover, through his leadership, Tanudan has extended services, especially in responding to emergencies, to others in need. Some instances were the use of the town’s ambulance and sending jugs of water and biscuits to Sacpil, Conner and its neighboring areas during the diarrhea outbreak in late May this year.  

 

As for peace and order, Tanudan is one of the most peaceful towns in Kalinga in the past years, recording only a minimal number of crimes. This made the municipality one of the contributory factors to the sustained peace and order in the province.

 

With all the awards and recognitions Tanudan gathered in the past 6 years, Mayor Dagadag promises his constituents that he will double his efforts to keep the municipality live into its tagline, Progressive Tanudan.

 

As he embarks on his third and final term as the mayor, Dagadag asks for the continuous support and cooperation of every iTanudan, saying, “dawatek latta iti agtul-tuloy nga suporta ken kooperasyon iti taga Tanudan ken amin nga opisyales ta haan ko kaya daytoy nga agmaymaysa. Dagiay na-accomplish tayo since 2019 ket gapu iti tulong ken suporta yu. Ket diay kuma iti dawatek manen kas ituloy tayo nga agtrabaho para iti agtul-tuloy nga pagsayaatan iti ili tayo nga Tanudan ken iti ili tayo nga Kalinga.”
