Tabuk City, Kalinga – The possibility of having another Automated Teller Machine (ATM) of Landbank within the locality of Tabuk will soon be realized; this is after the Sangguniang Panglungsod of Tabuk on its Regular Session this Monday, December 7, 2020 approved and gave the authority to the Local Government Unit of Tabuk to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement regarding the installation of 1 unit ATM near the gate of the City Hall.

This might solve the long queues and non-compliance on health protocols.

According to Landbank Manager Odaline Narag, this endeavour when given positive action by the body could solve the problem regarding the non-compliance of some clients on health protocols when using the ATMs located at Landbank building.

This, according to her, usually happens when the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program beneficiaries are scheduled to receive their payouts from said program.

Currently, Landbank has three ATMs located at their building, but then one of it is non-functional and is scheduled for replacement.

Narag, during the meeting, also assured that if the instalment of an ATM near the gate of the city hall pushes through, they will provide services to cater to the banking needs of clients within the City.

The Sangguniang Panglunsod members also suggested the instalment of another ATM at the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office to cater 4Ps beneficiaries during their payouts which was then given consideration by Landbank manager Narag.

According to her, they will work for a proposal regarding said suggestion.

As provided in the drafted MOA presented to the body, CLGU Tabuk will be providing security assistance within the premises to ensure security and safety of the ATM when installed.
