Updated: Oct 17, 2022

Baguio City, Philippines – A music video starring Jeyrick Sigmaton known as “The Carrotman of the Philippines” and Mai Fanglayan, who won Best Actress Urian Awards, is qualified for the professional category of the International Film Festival Manhattan, New York.

The good news was announced by musical director Jennylyn De Los Santos - Floresca (Direk Jianlin) on Sunday, September 25.

The five-minute music video “Minsan Mali Din ang Tadhana” was composed by Be Unrivaled Productions Exclusive Solo Artist Jeo Solar and was produced by Sine Cordillera.

According to Sine Cordillera, the music video tells a heartbreaking experience shared to Jeo by a ‘special someone’ who suffered injustice while being chained in a wrong commitment.

“This song is also inspired to remind all beautiful women out there to understand their value and fight back to unchain their so-called relationships to achieve freedom and self respect,” added the producer.

The video can be viewed at https://youtu.be/ZSBFM0FDBQw .

Also qualified for said film festival are the filmmercial ads “Nasan si Judith” and “Hindi Lahat ng Ina ay Babae” which were both produced by Sine Cordillera.

Direk Jianlin, in her social media post, congratulated all members of their team.
