P8.5M worth of various projects granted to Kalinga

Tabuk City, Kalinga – The provincial government of Kalinga will be receiving P8.5 million worth of projects from the Kalinga party-list, Kalinga Governor Ferdinand B. Tubban revealed this on Thursday, December 9, 2021.


In a letter, Kalinga party-list Representative Irene Gay Saulog informed the provincial governor, Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang and Pinukpuk Municipal Mayor Irving Dasayon regarding the projects granted to the province which are set to be implemented next year.


Among the projects allotted for Kalinga are the P5 million worth infrastructure projects to be implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways-Kalinga, P3 million for the construction and completion of multi-purpose building in Pinukpuk Junction, Pinukpuk and P593,400 worth of Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers by the Department of Labor and Employment.


For the implementation of projects, Saulog wrote that her staff will be coordinating with project coordinators in the province for the provision of possible assistance.

With these grants from said party-list, Governor Tubban in a Facebook post expressed gratitude to them for the assistance and those officials who are behind the delivery of grants to the yKalingas.


“Agyaman tayo ti Kalinga Partylist, headed by Representative Irene Gay Saulog, ta adda ti tulong aggapu gobyerno nga inyeg da para kadagiti naduma-duma a proyekto ti probinsiya.

We likewise thank Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang and Mayor Irving Dasayon for helping bring more funds to help our communities. We have received a total of more than 8 million pesos in projects from the Kalinga Partylist,” he wrote.
