Baguio City, Philippines – No one was left behind among the 362 Saint Louis University (SLU) graduates who took the March 2026 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination (MTLE), as they delivered a 100 percent passing rate.

The March 2026 MedTech board exam was administered on March 5–6 across testing centers in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. Five days later, the results were released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), which named SLU as one of the top-performing universities.

SLU was among the six schools tied for the top rank in the board examination, with the university having the largest number of examinees among them at 362.

This achievement sustained SLU’s strong performance in the MTLE. The university also ranked first in the August 2025 MTLE, while it placed second in the March 2025 examination.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) commended SLU for marking another milestone in the licensure examination for medical technologists.

Meanwhile, the PRC announced that the 7,838 newly passed medical technologists may register for the issuance of their Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration starting April 14.

The agency also informed that examinees who did not make it to the list of passers but obtained a general rating of 70 percent may register as Medical Laboratory Technicians.
