Tanudan LGU approves P1.8 million CoViD-19 vaccine budget

Tanudan, Kalinga―The Municipal Government of Tanudan through Mayor Jaedicke Dagadag has approved an allotment for the purchase of CoViD-19 vaccine for the people of Tanudan amounting to PhP1.8 million.


It can be recalled that the allocation of budget for the procurement of CoViD-19 was discussed in a meeting attended by the officials of the municipal government.

The allotment of funds intended for the 30% of the population is the counterpart of the municipal government since the funding for the 70% of the population shall be from the national government.


Mayor Jaedicke Dagadag said that after the deliberation with the municipal government officials, they decided to get the budget for the CoViD-19 vaccine for their constituents from their 2020 savings.

“Adda diyay savings mi. Isu diyay napan ti supplemental project diyay daduma ngem in priority mi nga insina diyay para vaccine. Ta from diyay savings mi ti 2020, isu diyay nagparang met nga dakkel ti savings mi. Isu nga in-allot mi ti 1.8 million,” he said.


Meanwhile, Dagadag mentioned that during their meeting with Local Chief Executives in the province, Governor Ferdinand Tubban said that the provincial government will share the burden and shall cover the 15% of the 30% counterpart of the municipality.
