TESDA-Kalinga satellite training center to be opened in Pasil

Pasil, Kalinga – Technical-vocational education and training courses offered by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) will soon be made accessible for the people of Pasil.

This development would soon be realized as a result of the initiative of Councilor Ronnie Bawalan who proposed a resolution in November 2021 for the establishment of TESDA-Kalinga satellite office in the municipality.

Supporting the measure, Mayor Alfredo ‘Chao-ig’ Malannag Jr. approved the resolution.

Bawalan forwarded the resolution to TESDA-Kalinga. The office then transmitted the proposal to the central office, in which the move received favorable response for its establishment.

TESDA-Kalinga shall deploy permanent employees at the satellite office to be located at the Evacuation Center compound in Tucol, Pasil, as duly provided by the local government unit.

Maadal tu dagiti youth dagiti kasapulan da a training kasla kuma ti masonry ken tile setting,” Bawalan stated in an interview.

The proponent hopes for the establishment of the satellite office this year.
