THREE hold-uppers from Tabuk City captured after robbing minors in Quezon, Isabela

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Three young residents of Tabuk City were apprehended in Isabela after robbing 12 and 14 years old in Quezon, Isabela early morning of Monday, March 16, 2026.

 

The three suspects were hidden under the names ‘Jimmy’ who is 18; ‘Ricky,’ 16; and ‘Rey.’ All of them are from Tabuk City, Kalinga.

 

According to local reports, the robbery happened around 1:00 a.m. It was said that a 14 and a 12-year-old were sitting at a waiting shed in Barangay Arellano together with another 12-year-old when the suspects arrived on their motorcycle.

 

Two of the back riders allegedly pulled out a knife and declared a “hold-up,” taking the victims' cellphone estimated to be worth P20,000.

 

Quezon police were alerted of the incident, prompting them to launch a hot pursuit operation which resulted in the arrest of the three suspects in Roxas, Isabela early morning of Monday. The three were described to have been cornered after their getaway motorcycle crashed against a van.

 

The three accused were taken to police custody for appropriate charges.
