Tinglayan rolls out FREE medical check-up and consultation on May 15-16

Tinglayan, Kalinga – Residents of Tinglayan are encouraged to have their health checked by availing themselves of the free medical services to be offered in the municipality on May 15–16, 2026, at the Municipal Tribal Gym.


The two-day medical mission, which is open to all communities in Tinglayan, will provide free medical consultations and dental services from health professionals and volunteers.


Free circumcision services will also be offered.


The Municipal Local Government Unit, headed by Mayor Charles Abay, said the activity is part of the LGU’s initiative to bring free and essential healthcare services closer to the people.


Mayor Abay, in a statement, encouraged residents of Tinglayan to take advantage of the free check-ups and medical consultations. He also urged individuals with family members experiencing health concerns to bring them to the medical mission for proper assessment by healthcare professionals.

Kas kuna tayo garud, health is wealth, isu nga importante nga ammo tayo iti status ti health tayo. Awan iti magastos ditoy ta libre iti maipaay nga medical services iti daytoy dua nga aldaw nga medical mission tayo,” Abay urged.
