Isabela, Philippines – Fresh from his four-year education and training at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA), a 23-year-old first class cadet awardee from Isabela is set to join the Philippine Air Force as a commissioned officer.

The commissionship to second lieutenant came after San Mariano, Isabela native Emmanuel Jim Lorenzo graduated with distinctions from the USAFA in Colorado, United States of America on May 29.

Lorenzo took and completed his Bachelor of Science in Geospatial Science as Dean’s Lister and Athletic Pin awardee for his excellent performance both in Academics and Sports and in Physical Development program of the academy.

According to the Philippine Military Academy, Lorenzo was originally a member of the PMA Class 2024, but he was sent to the USA to pursue his education and cadetship at the USAFA through the Military Education Exchange Program between the Philippines and USA.

“His achievement is not only a personal triumph but a powerful testament to the excellence, discipline, and competence of our cadets in the global stage,” the PMA wrote.

Lorenzo, meantime, dedicates his success at the United States Air Force Academy to those who believed in him, saying, “Para sa lahat ng naniwala, nagtiwala’t, sumuporta, para sa atin ‘to!”
