Aguinaldo, Mayoyao youth to raise fund for young people in Abra

Mayoyao, Ifugao – The Youth Mobile Force (YMF) of Aguinaldo and Mayoyao in Ifugao will hold a “Walk for a Cause” on Saturday, August 20, 2022 to raise fund for the recovery of fellow youth in Abra.

With the powerful 7.0 magnitude quake that struck Abra on July 27, the young people in said province were among those heavily affected.

“With the given situation, the YMF-Abra Chapter cannot move freely, so they reached out to the Federated Youth Mobile Force. We have this donation drive proposal entitled “Tulong ng Pagbangon ng Abra,” Genalyn Baichon of YMF Mayoyao expressed.

The “Walk for a Cause” starts at 6:00 AM tomorrow at Mt. Nagchajan to Mayoyao Municipal Plaza where the participants will gather and dance Zumba.

Tickets for children costs P50, P100 for adults, and P200 for sponsors.

According to the local government of Mayoyao, tickets can be bought from Genalyn Baichon, Aladin Chumalan, and Diana Gopeng or can be paid through Gcash through 09277164996 under Ethel Bongyo.

Aguinaldo and Mayoyao are calling for the public’s participation to raise some amount of money as aid to the youth of their neighboring province.

Free snacks and coffee will be served.
