Cong. Mangaoang grateful for the support of Senator Marcos on KPH conversion to tertiary level

Tabuk City, Kalinga―Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang acknowledged the strong support of Senator Imee Marcos on the conversion of Kalinga Provincial Hospital into a level 3 Regional Hospital by filing Senate Bill No. 1570.


In a recent Facebook page post, Allen Jesse Mangaoang expressed his gratitude to the Senator Imee Marcos for helping out in achieving such aspiration for the people of Kalinga.


“Agyaman tayo ken ni Senadora Imee Marcos nga tumultulong kadatayo iti panagbalin ti Provincial Hospital tayo akas maysa nga tertiary level hospital nga mapanaganan tu ti Northern Cordillera Regional Medical Center,” he expressed.


“Isu na met lng ti sponsor jay panagbalin ti Naneng National High School, Mosimos annex kas maysa nga independent National High School.Sapay koma ta babaen ti panag sponsor na kadagitoy nga bill tayo ijay senado ket agbalikas tu daytoy nga talugading tayo,” Mangaoang continued.


It can be recalled that on July 22, 2019, Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang filed House Bill No. 2432, an act converting the Kalinga Provincial Hospital in Tabuk City, Kalinga into a level 3 Regional Hospital to be known as the Northern Cordillera Regional Medical under the supervision, control and management of the Department of Health, and Appropriating Funds therefor.


On the explanatory note, Mangaoang emphasized that the conversion of the hospital will upgrade its capability, facilities and personnel, as well as increasing its bed capacity to three hundred, will firmly address the pressing medical needs of the poor and marginalized members of the society.


With these, KPH will be able to provide a more integrated, comprehensive, accessible, and effective quality health care and services not only to the Province of Kalinga but also to its neighboring provinces of Isabela, Apayao, Ifugao, Mountain Province, and Abra.


Previously, Marcos applauded the great efforts of Mangaoang to enhance and improve the quality and safety of the health care facilities in Kalinga Province.


Senator Imee Marcos affirmed that she has filed the Senate Bill No. 1570 relative to House Bill No. 2432that proposes to convert the Kalinga Provincial Hospital to a level three hospital, to be known as the Northern Cordillera Regional Medical Center, and increase its bed capacity to three hundred beds.


Additionally, she assured to do her utmost in the Senate to support the congressman’s legislative effort.
