Tabuk City, Kalinga – How long can you play ‘lato-lato’?

For two nine-year-old kids in Dagupan Centro, they lasted for 21 minutes during the lato-lato challenge hosted by the barangay on Father’s Day, June 18.

Punong Barangay George Esteras told GURU Press there were 13 participants who joined in the event which was held to provide an avenue for families to bond together on Dad’s day celebration.

Alimar Olama and Hanzalah Ismael outlasted the other 11 children. The two were described to be persistent to win and neither wanted to surrender until after 21 minutes when Esteras decided to declare them both as winners.

The participants who were accompanied and cheered by their parents received cash prize from the punong barangay who utilized his own resources for the event.
