DILG-CAR commends Gov. Edduba for pivotal role in the Nationwide Celebration of “Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat”

Tabuk City, Kalinga - The Province of Kalinga recently earned praise from the DILG-CAR for its active role in implementing national initiatives under the leadership of Governor James Edduba, whose efforts helped bring together stakeholders and ensure the success of the Handog ng Pangulo, Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat.

In the recently concluded nationwide event, DILG-CAR Assistant Regional Director (ARD) Ruperto B. Maribbay Jr. highlighted the province's consistent alignment with the goals of national development, particularly in programs aimed at strengthening good governance, community participation, and public service delivery.

During his speech, Maribbay acknowledged the Provincial Government of Kalinga, including all the LGUs for their continued commitment to the implementation of national initiatives.

The ARD also stressed that Governor James Edduba’s leadership and proactive efforts in coordinating with various sectors to ensure the event’s success - with his cooperation cited as a key factor in the smooth implementation of national programs at the local level.

“We would like to also express our deep gratitude to our provincial government, particularly our dear governor and the officialdom—the provincial government of Kalinga, who generously hosted today’s activity. Dakkel nga bendisyon ti suporta yo apo and your efforts ensured the successful conduct of this nationwide initiative,” said Maribbay.

More than a celebration, the assistant director said that the event is a reaffirmation of the government’s promise to uplift all, especially the vulnerable, with one guiding goal that no one should be left behind.

“Ditoy, ti serbisyo ti nadumaduma nga ahensya ket maited kadakayo mismo. Awan ti saan nga makaawat iti serbisyo ti gobyerno. So lahat po ay makakuha ng mga serbisyo na kailangan—nga kasapulan ti amin nga kailyan tayo apo. The goal is simple yet profound: walang Pilipinong maiiwan, awan ti maisinsina apo,” he concluded.

The serbisyo caravan featured various events including the Job Fair, ceremonial MOA signing, and payout for TUPAD beneficiaries and awarding, among others.
