Discounted school supplies available on June 5-7 in Dagupan, Tabuk Public Market

Tabuk City, Kalinga - The much-anticipated Diskwento Caravan: Balik Eskwela Edition of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Kalinga will be back on June 5 to 7, 2025, at the Dagupan Public Market in Dagupan Centro, Tabuk City.  

The caravan aims to provide affordable/cheaper school supplies and essentials to students and parents, especially for those from low-income households.  

In an interview with Guru Press Cordillera, the DTI-Kalinga said that the event will offer a wide range of “quality” products at discounted prices, including notebooks, pens, bags, shoes, and other school-related merchandise.  

Various micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the province will offer these items at distributor or supplier prices. Bundled promos will also be available for additional savings.  

The Diskwento Caravan: Balik Eskwela Edition is part of DTI-Kalinga’s annual back-to-school initiative, successfully conducted in previous years. 

Parents and students are encouraged by the agency to visit the caravan to take advantage of the affordable prices and prepare for the upcoming school year without breaking the bank.
