Ferdinand B. Tubban guns for Tabuk Vice Mayor; kicks off rally with Thanks Giving Mass

Tabuk City, Kalinga – While he experienced both the highs and the lows of politics, Engineer Ferdinand Tubban remains consistent of one thing, starting his political campaign with a Thanksgiving Mass and prayer.

Tubban, a former Kalinga governor and Tabuk City mayor, is back in the race for Tabuk City Vice Mayor in the May 2025 polls.

With the start of the campaign period for the local candidates this March 28, Tubban kept his tradition of starting his opening salvo through a mass to thank the Creator and ask for His guidance in his political bid. For this reason, he, along with his family members, brought his supporters to UCCP church for a Thanksgiving Mass.

Taking the podium to speak before his supporters after the mass, Tubban expressed his belief in committing everything that one does to the Almighty and that he is lifting up his endeavor to Him. 

‘’Nu adda man iti mangabak ken pannaka abak ket adda iti dakkel nga rason ni Apo Diyos nu anya ken nu apay nga apan na da tayo inturung a kas kandidato para bise mayor iti ili tayo a Tabuk City. Mamati ak a ni Apo Diyos met laeng iti mangaramid ti am-amin,” he said.

Tubban then asked for prayers as he vies for City Vice Mayor, saying, “dawatek  iti panangidalan ken kararag yu.  Pangaasi tayo ta ikarkararagan yu da kami amin nga kandidato tapnu iti kasta ket ikkan na iti wisdom ti panangikampanya tayo ti plataporma tayo, nu anya ti mabalin nga aramiden tayo.”

Tubban said he wanted nothing but to continue serving the public.

“Maysa ak met nga sipu-puso latta nga mangawat nu anya man iti alikagum ni Apo Diyos nga aramiden tayo nangnangruna idiay konseho,” he concluded his message.
