First phase construction of Tanudan Municipal Hospital completed

Tanudan, Kalinga – The dream of having an improved medical facility in Tanudan is now visible to the eyes of the people with the completion of the first phase of the Tanudan Municipal Hospital in Banagao, Poblacion.


The new and improved municipal hospital, which was designed with a 25-bed capacity, was initially funded with P40 million from the P999 million loan of the Kalinga Provincial Government and P5.5 million from the Department of Health.

Tanudan Information Officer Designate and Executive Assistant to Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag, John Ryan Awingan, informed that the first floor of the building was finished and that the first phase of the building was completed, together with its plastering and electrical connections.


Awingan added that Governor James Edduba, who inspected the building during the first week of August, vowed that the infrastructure will be given another funding for its phase 2 construction soon.


Now that the much-awaited hospital is slowly becoming a reality for every iTanudan, Mayor Dagadag again acknowledged the past and present provincial administration for their commitment to providing the people of Tanudan with a new and improved medical facility.


“Agpaspasalamat tayo kadagiti naglabas ken agdama nga opisyales iti probinsiya tayo ta inpapati ken ipapapati da met piman nga maikkan tayo iti nasaysayaat nga ospital tapnu iti kasta ket haanen nga kasapulan pay nga mapan dagiti kakailyan agpaagas idiay Tabuk kada daduma pay nga lugar nu adda emergency, idiay dan Tanudan nga ma-cater,” Dagadag expressed.
