Cagayan, Philippines – A man in Cagayan Province who was initially reported by a concerned citizen for physically abusing his wife is now facing four different charges.

The man alias Birung, 53, was arrested by the Tuao Police Station in May 10 in Barangay Pata after they responded to a report that he beat his wife, hitting her indiscriminately.

According to Cagayan Police Provincial Office, the responding authorities upon arrival at the house of the suspect, saw him in possession of a belt bag containing something pointed.
